Anti-wrinkle injections.

Botox a drug made from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botulin Toxin is used for anti-ageing treatments. Anti-wrinkle injections is administered as an injection, commonly used in the upper part of the face to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the eyes (cross feet) and forehead. Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used to reduce excessive sweating from the armpits.

How do Anti-wrinkle injections injections work?

Botox works by relaxing muscles which causes the skin to relax. The injections stopping nerve signals from reaching the muscles so that they do not contract so often. Lines and wrinkles are smoothed out or disappear all together. The Botulin protein only produces its effects on the muscles it is administered to therefore there will be no effects on other parts of the body.

How is the Anti-wrinkle injections treatment administered?

Botoxis injected in very small doses in numerous areas, using a fine needle. There is usually very mild to moderate pain experienced with our Botox treatment, which should subside very quickly. The wanted effects of anti-wrinkle injections should appear within a few days up to 2 weeks of treatment and can last for 3-5 months, to maintain the effect, you should repeat treatments every 3-5 months.  Anti-wrinkle injectionstreatment for excessive sweating can last for up to 9-12 months.
